Vision Board

I would love to know if anyone here keeps a vision board? I started one in the last place I lived and looked at it every day and night. It keep my mind on it but nothing happened!

I would love to hear from anyone that keeps a vision board and have had success and if so how and where you keep the board?

I am going to start another one up and hoping to get it working this time and getting my hopes and goals through the board.

Looking forward to reading your replies.......

Hi Tre, I have had a few

Hi Tre, I have had a few successes with a vision board. Well I kept mine away from any negaitve comments, as at the time lots of friends and family members used to come to my flat and I didn't like the comments they made about my dreams. SO I put it inside my wardrobe on the right hand door......And all the things I put on manifested. They were quite small as I was only starting out, but I do really appreciate them. All  in all it took from 6 moths to a year as some were long time goals.

ps I read somewhere that if you are holding onto something so much, it does not manifest as the focus is on not having rather than appreciating the goodness of having it. Its important to feel as if you already have the goal, giving thanks and gratitude for it. Carry on with life knowing that its already done, and its just a matter of time for it to manifest. I hope some of this helps. Love and blessings, Crystalblue.

Small steps

I find vision boards are useful in actually working out your goals/purpose. Remember that each journey begins with a single step. When you feel your not moving towards goals on your vision board sit and reflect. Often I find in some small way I am, however tiny. I also review it often to see if I need to change it or if my goals remain the same.  Take a photo of your vision board on your phone and look at it where ever you go. Your dreams are not silly. They make you YOU! Hold on tight to them, RB :-)

Vision Boards

Hiya Tre,  I did a vision board for a camper van last year, I think for the power of creation to work properly you have to pretend you already have it, so the universe can match up to your desire..I really talked about how it was going to feel to be inside it, what it was going to look like etc, and I made a board and cut out loads of pictures and words... it took three months of truly "believing" I was going to get one! Against all the odds I got one, and it's gorgous!..so it can work (I also made up silly songs about it and sang them as I walked around the house which I'm sure helped quite alot!) :))

Vision board

Reading this topic this morning made me want to get mine started!

So I decided to go and get a box down that I knew had some old spirit & destiny mags in it. Going through them (2010 dated) I found a 'pull-out' poster all about cosmic ordering!!! how strange is that!!!

That got me sorting out all my files that contain my certificates, information and course work on everything from Runes and Tarot to Crystal healing angel therapy and attunements.

Amazing what I had forgotten I had studied and qualified in.

Now if I could just stop seeing people and things walking past my window I would be happier!

Blessings and Light

Vision Boards

Read a book about keeping one I bought ages ago and made my own.  It's been propped up against my bedroom wall for years, it has photos and pictures of things I would like to achieve/have.  So far, nothing has happened although I look at it first thing every morning and last thing before I turn the light off every night.  I visualise my life as though my vision board has already come true, not difficult as it involves returning to live near my family, but so far nothing has actually happened.  I still live in hope though and dream that I will eventually be able to afford to return to my family in NZ.

Hi Tre, I have a vision

Hi Tre,

I have a vision board, did have one success from it but to be honest it's not placed where I see it every day so I'm going to move it!  I'll let you know if I get better luck when I place it in a better place.  Also have a vision board folder on my laptop where I copy and paste pictures of things that I would like to attract - don't think I've had any come true on that one yet either and I probably look at that a bit more..............watch this space!

Vision Board

I made a vision board for the first time at the beginning of this year when i was made redundant from my job. I wanted to get back into the same company in particular shop. On the board i had a picture of the shop with a photo of me in the uniform i wore to work there, i had an affirmation saying i will be very happy and work well in this shop, i also pinned my work name badge with the company name on the board as well and a few other bits and pieces to do with the shop. I displayed the board in my bedroom in an area where i saw it all the time. I had it up for 6 months roughly and then decided to take it down and put it away, i did'nt dismantle it just put it in a drawer. Then about a month after this i could'nt beleive when a vacancy became available in the shop which has looked pretty hopeless not long before. I don't really know how much influence the board had in helping me get the job back but i do feel that it did make a difference somehow. I really do feel my wishes were sent out in a way and got possitive vibrations back. I am so glad i made one and tried it. I would not hesitate to make one again at some other time if i feel it would be the right thing to do in the situation. Somrtimes now when i think how it all came about i feel quite amazed. I know some would say it may have happened anyway but i still do beleive in it.     Love Marie xx

Marie silver, I remember your

Marie silver, I remember your story and you inspired me to make my own dream board.

I have pictures of happy, loving couples,   healthy food, nice homes and countryside.  Will this work?

Hello Spiritanddestinyfan, it

Hello Spiritanddestinyfan, it was the first time that i had ever tried making and using a vision board and i just put on it what i really wanted to help make happen. I think putting on it the things that you want to happen or achieve for the good and best outcome for your situation is what is required and it sounds like you have done this with yours in putting what you really want for happiness for yourself for the future. I cannot say really if it is something that works or does'nt work but i really do now think that putting our hopes and wishes out there attracts the good things to you in some way.  That is the best way that i can describe how i feel about it all just now.

I really hope it works well for you and you could let me know how you get on if you would like

Lots of love

Marie xx

Vision Board

Hi Marie,
What an inspiring story and are you still enjoying your job? I've not done a vision board in a while (few years) and think I'm going to do one now having been reminded of them and how useful they are for focusing our energies and efforts. I tend to get easily distracted! Do you think it best to put everything on one board or do separate ones say for myself personally and one for my business desires?

Hi SeaMaiden

I'm happy that my experience with the vision board has interested you and you want to make one again.  Yes, i am still very much enjoying my job. Of course it has days at times that are a trial and not as good as others but that is just part of how things go and is to be expected. But over all i know it is the right place to be for me work wise.

I had never thought of making two seperate boards but don't think it would be a bad idea for two different areas of your life.  Though at the same point to combine it on the one i still think it would have just as good an outcome and energy about it and could lead to just as much success.  Am not sure, but my gut reaction is to make it as one to start with and see how it goes for a month or two and if you still feel to have seperate boards feels best for you have the two.  I found a lot of it was how it made me feel when i looked at the board and if it made me feel really hopefull and right about visualising and at times when looking at it that the events i wanted to come about had kind of already happened.

Hope that does'nt sound silly but is difficult to explain.

But i do really feel it is well worth you making it and to hear how you get on.

All the best to you

Marie xx
